2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques Theory and practical skills will be taught for the above. Students are expected to work on each other and to progress onto clients. All practical assessments will be carried out on clients. Theory assessments will need to be completed in all areas. This is an ideal first course for those students interested in a beauty career. A smart beauty therapy overall/tunic is compulsory for all students. A beauty kit will also need to be purchased. Health

Beauty Cosultancy This course includes – make-up for light toned skins, shaping eyebrows & tinting eyelashes & eyebrows. ( With the addition of 2 other modules). Theory and practical skills will be taught for the above. Students are expected to work on each other and to progress onto clients. All practical assessments will be carried out on clients. Theory assessments will need to be completed in all areas. This is an ideal first course for those students interested in a beauty career. Recommended follow-on courses would be Level 2 Certificate in Nail Treatments and Level 2 Certificate in Depilation. A smart beauty therapy overall/tunic is compulsory for all students. A beauty kit will also need to be purchased.
Level 2 Certificate
in Nail Treatments This course includes – providing a manicure treatment, with the addition of one other module which could include providing a pedicure treatment. Theory and practical skills will be taught for the above. Students are expected to work on each other and to progress onto clients. All practical assessments will be carried out on clients. Theory assessments will need to be completed in all areas. An ideal course for those students wishing to work from home or in a salon. Recommended follow-on course would be Level 2 certificate in Depilation. A
smart beauty therapy overall/tunic is compulsory for all students. A beauty
kit will also need to be purchased.
Level
2 Certificate in Wax Depilation This course includes – waxing (hot & warm) of a variety of areas, eg. Legs, underarms, bikini-line, eyebrows, facial, abdomen. Theory and practical skills will be taught for the above. Students are expected to work on each other and to progress onto clients. All practical assessments will be carried out on clients. Theory assessments will need to be completed in all areas. An ideal course for those students wishing to set up a waxing business from home or to work in a salon. Recommended follow-on course would be Level 2 Certificate in Nail Treatments. A smart beauty therapy overall/tunic is compulsory for all students. A small beauty kit will also need to be purchased.
